Angela (Angie) Burgess is the President and CEO of Broad Oaks Consulting, LLC. A former philanthropic director and financial planning executive, she now serves as a trusted advisor to not-for-profit organizations on strategic planning, revenue generation, and investment development. Prior to founding Broad Oaks Consulting, Angela served as Director of Philanthropy for Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, one of Chicago's oldest and most well-respected child services organizations.

Angela left a successful corporate career to pursue her passion for not-for-profit work after discovering the impact her skills could have on helping others in need. Previously, she held leadership roles at The Principal, Morgan Stanley, and MetLife Investors, where she gained a wealth of knowledge in insurance planning, charitable trusts, complex gifts, and accounting. With 20 years of sales, recruiting, and speaking experience, Angela thrives on empowering others to become the very best version of themselves.
