Senior Executive Director of Planned Giving, City of Hope
June Penrod brings more than 15 years of experience in philanthropy. Currently she is the Senior Executive Director of Planned Giving at City of Hope, located in Durate, CA. At City of Hope, she oversees its Donor Engagement and Stewardship operations, as well as the Planned Giving Lead Qualification program. Previously she was the Director of Planned Giving at California State University, Northridge where she designed and developed a comprehensive planned giving program for the entire university.
June holds her bachelor's degree from Bucknell University and her masters from Mercy College. She is a Certified Planned Giving Specialist and also a longtime volunteer and board member for the Los Angeles Council of Charitable Gift Planners. When she's not talking shop, she enjoys life in Ventura County with her husband and two rambunctious little boys.
