Dawn Fleming is a highly experienced fundraising professional with 25 years in the sector. She currently serves as Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving for Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in West Hartford, CT. Having worked in various capacities at both large and small shops, Dawn has encountered nearly every aspect of the fundraising business. Her previous experience includes nine years with the Salvation Army as Donor Relations Director, then Associate Director of Major Gifts; four years as Director of Development for Waterbury Youth Service System; six years as Capital Campaign Director for Sand Dollar Associates; and three years as Director of Grants research then Capital Campaign Director for The Martin J. Moran Company. A former board member and 15-year member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), she knows how critical preparation and presentation are to each point of contact with donors, and she continues to hone her skills by learning from the best in the sector.

She holds a bachelor s degree with honors from St. John's University and Certification as a Fundraising Executive (CFRE) - a globally recognized credential of fundraising expertise.
